More often, high quality sires bring in enough of the green stuff (the kind you would want to scoop up, that is) that they warrant high paid print and online advertisements.

The Oregon Hay Bank is a great organization that helps horse owners that are between paychecks, faced with an extra heavy load of bills that month, or are otherwise in a pinch and need help feeding their horses. Run by volunteers, the OHB is a great organization I proudly support, and hope you will too.
